My Print O’The Wave-stole has yet another corner! It’s finished! I’ve grafted that fourth corner and I’ve fastened the loose ends. Now it’s time for blocking.
Thanks again to Linda who came to my rescue and helped out when I lacked yarn to finish my stole.
Stole in progress
This is how much I could do knit with the yarn I had myself. I lack yarn for the last 7 repeats of the border. But! Help is on the way from Canada!
The pattern is Print O’The Wave-stole (opens a pdf) by Eunny Jang. And the yarn is Fino from Alpaca With a Twist.
(And speaking of a blurry Skorpan the other day, what about the focus in the picture above? 🙂 )
The wonderful world of knitters! Yesterday, I asked for help as I need some additional yarn to finish my Print O’The Wave-stole. I also asked three people over at Ravelry if they would be intrested in a trade of some sort to help me out.
Within 2½hours I had given my address to a generous woman in Ontario, Canada, who later this week will send me 15 grams of the yarn I need. And she didn’t even want to trade anything for it.
I’m blown away by the generosity of knitters! Thank you, Linda!
I’ve known for a while that I don’t have enough Alpaca With A Twist Fino to finish my Print O’The Wave-stole. I’ve chosen to ignore the fact to keep me going and not give up on the stole. I’ve been surprisingly faithful to this project for the last couple of weeks.
I have knit 55 out of 84 repeats for the border and I only have 10grams left of the yarn. I estimate I will need an additional 15grams to be able to finish it all.
Can you help?
I need 15 grams of Fino from Alpaca With A Twist in colourway Plum Wine 2000. The dye lot is 3038, but I’m not picky on that one.
Please contact me (either in a comment here or by using the contact form) and we’ll try to work something out to make us both happy.
